Some pieces have a history, and some carry it with them.
Few designs are so instantly recognisable, or so deeply connected to Britain's wartime story.
Born in the dark days of the Second World War, it became synonymous with the Royal Marines Commandos.
Men who came ashore from the sea, men who operated in darkness, men who went where others could not, the Fairbairn-Sykes went with them.
Its slender profile and unmistakable silhouette have made it one of the most recognisable designs ever created, and more than eighty years later, it still carries the character of the men for whom it was made. That history is a big part of what makes creating a Fairbairn-Sykes so special.
You're not simply making an object; you're recreating something that represents a remarkable chapter in British history.
Four pieces of metal and a single piece of the Commandos' story.
The Fairbairn-Sykes.
